Last Meeting

The last meeting for local businesses was on Monday 23rd January 2012. We met at Ye Olde Griffin and focussed on ways to encourage the Shop Local campaign.
Mr Gary Cottam from Doublespark presented and answered questions about the use of our web site for the campaign. It is hoped to be able to develop the site so that it becomes the first port of call for people searching for local businesses.
Congratulations!

The competition winner was Jo Snow of March.
Jo will receive £100 worth of vouchers to spend at any of the March shops displaying the "Shop Local" sticker.
Join March Chamber

Membership is open to any organisation doing business within the March area and is available via a simple membership form.
We hope you find our web site easy to use and informative.
We serve all businesses
Businesses we serve include town centre retailers, edge-of-town businesses, developing one-man-bands, and home workers. There are no rules as to who can join.
The Committee

The Chamber is run by a Committee, elected from the membership every year. However, all members have the opportunity to input. It is here where the nitty-gritty is discussed and decided.
Communication
Communication is by email. All members must supply an email address for notification of meetings etc. Members are also forwarded a regular number of emails from relevant business organisations, containing details on training, grants, business news etc. Member email addresses are never given out, not even to fellow members.
Shop Local
We are currently promoting a Shop Local campaign - please enquire if you would like to join this scheme.
Free Parking
Why pay travelling costs and parking fees when you can shop locally in March Town?
Membership Benefits:
